Organization profile
μDIE is the name of the microelectronics and IoT research group at Universidad Católica del Uruguay.
Our main areas of work are the design of analog and mixed mode circuits for implantable medical devices, and other very low consumption electronic devices. We are also working on the development of innovative IoT sensor nodes for the agri-food industry.
Some recent projects are the development of a micro-consumption RISC-V processor for implantable medical applications in .18um CMOS-HV technology that also includes circuits for biological tissue stimuli delivery. Another project is the field emulation of a LoRa sensor network with up to thousands of nodes in a farm.
