Organization profile
The department aims to provide quality teaching through evidence-based health promotion and prevention knowledge.
To this end, we emphasize research and the generation of networks between the different professional areas that comprise the department: physiotherapy, nutrition, medicine, nursing, dentistry, and psychology. The inter and transdisciplinary approach allows us to develop various projects of a comprehensive approach to the individual and the health providers or agents necessary to respond to the needs of the same in search of quality of life.
We aim to develop transdisciplinary lines of research and design projects and interventions that allow us to make the most of all the services that the health professionals that make up the department perform in their daily professional practice.
At the same time, we seek to generate an approach with the community through professional practices, either in the university clinic or in the different neighborhoods where the University carries out social and fieldwork.
