Organization profile
Our research group focuses on the study of human motivation. The central questions that guide our research work are: why we pursue certain purposes (motivation), how we control and regulate our behaviour in the contexts in which we live (self-regulation), how we can improve these processes to address such a basic human need as learning (motivation to learn), and how teaching can foster this interest (creation of motivational climates). We are especially interested in our research reaching the educational actors: students, teachers, directors, families, support professionals and the community as a whole.
