He is dedicated to research in the area of Gerontology, particularly in areas such as formal care from the perspective of person-centered care and development of intervention projects that promote intergenerational learning. He also develops research in the area of therapeutic psychomotor evaluation and intervention with children and adults.

Graduated in Psychomotricity from the University of the Republic since 2006, he completed his Doctorate in Health Sciences at the University Institute of Health Sciences, H. A Barceló Foundation, in Argentina, completing it in 2019. He completed the Master's degree in Social Gerontology in the University of Jaén, Spain, between 2010-2011. He teaches undergraduate and postgraduate studies at UCU from 2009 to the present and has published several articles in scientific journals related to his study topics.
