Personal profile

Research interests

My research interests are in the field of reading and mathematics learning and specific learning difficulties. The main research interests relate to the acquisition of mathematical skills, their predictors and the difficulties that might arise in these processes during school years. Specifically in the development and effectiveness of assessment tools and intervention programs in mathematical skills. An additional research interest relates to the relationship between the acquisition of reading and writing processes and mathematical skills, specially in children with learning difficulties.
