This researcher is dedicated to exploration in the field of Research Methodology and Health, focusing on the interdisciplinary dialogue between Instrumental and Empirical Research. Their professional performance is oriented towards the development of psychological assessment instruments and the implementation of cultural adaptation of psychological tests to our country, through studies of psychometric properties. Additionally, their research products are also related to empirical research in areas such as learning difficulties (prevalence of dyslexia, dyscalculia, attention, and their comorbidities), assessment of family functioning, affective processes, or substance dependence. These works are framed within the research focus area of Psychological Measurement and Evaluation.

He obtained his Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Murcia in Spain (UM) in 2021. In 2014, he earned a Master's degree in Educational Psychology from the Catholic University of Uruguay (UCU), followed by a Master's degree in Methodology of Behavioral and Health Sciences from the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM) in 2015. In 1999, he graduated as a Psychologist from the Catholic University of Uruguay. He has been involved in teaching at the Catholic University of Uruguay since 2003 to the present. Currently, he holds a full-time teaching and research position in the Department of Neurosciences and Learning.
