Research interests

He is dedicated to researching in the area of ​​Labor Law, focusing his academic production on various topics that are part of the main institutes and legal problems that arise at a dogmatic, doctrinal and jurisprudential level. The main lines of research in which he has delved are the following: A) the termination of the employment relationship, stability in employment, dismissal and its causality; B) working time and some rights specifically concerned, such as the right to limit the hours or work, rest and digital disconnection; C) the employment relationship, its essential elements and substantive and legal configuration, focused on the field of new technologies, digital platforms and atypical forms of work; D) the mutations of the labor market, the digital revolution, the development of new technological instruments and their influence on labor law

Personal profile

He has specialized in Spain, studying in 2013 a "Specialization for Latin American experts in labor relations" at the Castilla-La Mancha University, as well as the "University Master's Degree in Labor Law and Labor Relations" at the University of Salamanca, where he obtained the master's degree in 2017 and a recognition for the best academic record ("Extraordinary Master's Award"). In that country he completed a stage dedicated to research activity in 2020 (at the University of Salamanca), where he obtained the Ph.D. degree, with the highest qualification of outstanding cum laude. He is an active researcher of the National System of Researchers (SNI-ANII). He is Coordinator of the Revista Jurídica del Trabajo. During the years 2021 and 2023, he was Director of the Academic Programs of the Law and Notarial Degree courses at the Catholic University of Uruguay.
