Research interests

The teacher is dedicated to research in the field of Education, in interdisciplinary dialogue with Educational Psychopedagogy and Educational Psychology. She is interested in evidence-based practices in the field of education and teacher professional development. In this field, she has led research that promotes professional learning in formative assessment and literacy areas.

She completed her Ph.D. in Psychology at the Catholic University of Uruguay (UCU) in 2016. She teaches at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and conducts research at the UCU. She was the principal investigator of the project “Design and Impact Evaluation of a Professional Development Program on Formative Assessment for Mathematics Teachers” (Digital Inclusion Sector Fund FSED_2_2019_1_156641, ANII). She directed the Bachelor in Psychopedagogy (2007-2013). She is a member of the Formative and Shared Evaluation Network and the Ibero-American Network of Psychopedagogy. Currently, she serves as the Scientific Editor of the academic journal Páginas de Educación.
