His priority lines of research and publication focus on educational innovation analyzed from four complementary perspectives: 1) research on organizational culture and beliefs about collaboration in general and teamwork in particular, 2) effective leadership practices for the establishment of strategic vision, 3) personal styles and transformative self-knowledge through the enneagram and 4) the contributions of science in the design and implementation of educational innovations.

Doctor in Education (University of Deusto, Bilbao), Master in Education and Specialist in Management of Educational Centers (Catholic University of Uruguay), Physics Professor (IPA-Uruguay). Organizational Constellator and systemic coaching (Geiser Works/edefunfazioa-Bilbao). Director of the Horreum Fundazioa Foundation of projects for Latin America.

He is a member of the editorial board of education journals in Argentina, Spain, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay. He has worked in teacher training in Brazil, Bolivia, Colombia, Costa Rica, Chile, Spain, Guatemala and Uruguay.
