Research interests

Initially, the main line of research was Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Under this line, I started working in this area in 2014, at the Catholic University of Uruguay (UCU) linked to the CSR Programme of the Faculty of Business Sciences (FCE). The thematic areas of research focused on CSR and Corporate Volunteering, addressing different topics such as: motivational factors, satisfaction, gender, among others. Currently, I am also involved in research lines related to Entrepreneurship, Social Innovation and Gender (02/2021 - to date), participating in research in the role of qualitative researcher in different ANII -BID projects. A last line of research refers to sustainability, triple impact business, B Companies from the perspective of Management and Marketing (03/2022 - to date). This line of research is part of the doctoral thesis I am developing.

Personal profile

Patricia Correa García, PhD in Business Administration from the Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA), Master, MBA from the Universidad Católica del Uruguay (UCU), Bachelor in Psychology from the Universidad de la República (UDELAR). She has been a full-time lecturer at UCU since 2010, and her courses include Business Research, Marketing and Strategic Analysis. In management she has served as Coordinator of the Final Degree Projects (FCE) and is the referent of the Minor in Marketing and Digital Communication. Her research interests include CSR, corporate volunteering, marketing, social marketing and sustainable development. From the development of research for her doctoral thesis, she researches in the area of triple impact economies, economies of the common good and B Companies, focusing on the analysis of their business models from a marketing perspective.
