Dr. Matías Miguez, is a Full Professor of the Engineering Department at Universidad Católica del Uruguay, and a Level 1 Researcher at the SNI. Matías R. Miguez received his PhD degree in Electronics Engineering from the Universidad Nacional del Sur, Bahia Blanca, Argentina in 2016 and his MSc and Graduate degree in Electronics Engineering from the Universidad Católica, Montevideo Uruguay in 2008 and 2005 respectively. He has also received a Graduate degree in Physics from the Universidad de la República, also in Montevideo, Uruguay in 2007.
