Research interests
He works in the area of the phonetics and phonology of Spanish. His research interest focuses on prosody in oral and written language learning in Spanish as a native and foreign language. Currently he is working with several projects on reading prosody.

He obtained his PhD in linguistics from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in 2018. He currently works as an associate professor in the Department of Neuroscience and Learning, and he is also part of the Research Support Unit of the Vice-Chancellor's Office for Research and Innovation of the Catholic University of Uruguay.
