Research interests

She is dedicated to researching issues related to food and nutrition from a population perspective, focusing on evaluating policies that promote breastfeeding and those implemented during the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure food security for the population. She has also focused on studying the self-perception of body image and issues related to overweight in the life cycle, as well as aspects related to diet and cardiovascular diseases, especially stroke.

Personal profile

She completed PhD in Public Health at the University of Chile in 2019 and Master's Degree in Public Health at the same university in 2015. She taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses at the Universidad Mayor de Chile during the years 2016-2022, as part of the School of Public Health of that academic institution. He is currently part of the Institute of Public Health of the Andrés Bello University, Chile. Since 2018, she has been a member of the Latin American network of Leaders in Nutrition. Since 2021 she has been teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses at the Catholic University of Uruguay, is the director of the master's degree in Epidemiology and Digital Health and a researcher in the Department of Welfare and Health.
