Rafael Piñeiro-Rodriguez is PhD in Political Science of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He is Professor of Political Science at the Departamento de Ciencias Sociales, Universidad Católica del Uruguay. He is a member of the executive committee of the Latin American Association of Political Science (ALACIP) 2019 - 2024. He is a member of the Evidence in Governance and Politics (EGAP) network.

Research interests

His focus of research is on party organizations and activism, and on political incorporation of popular sectors in Latin America.
