He is currently the Director of the Department of Administration and Business at the Catholic University of Uruguay. He has over 10 years of experience in national and international research and advisory on agricultural policy and environment issues. He has held positions at the World Bank as a Senior Economist, the OECD as a Policy Analyst, the Ministry of Environment of Uruguay, and the Bank of Mexico as a researcher. He holds a Master's degree in Environmental Economics from the University of Arizona, a Ph.D. in Environmental Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, and has a CFA certification in ESG investments.
