Abstract

In this work we propose to exploit the Spectral-Projected-Gradient method of optimization by its relaunching from the parallel paradigm. We report an adaptation of the algorithm of the Spectral-Projected-Gradient Method in order to achieve an efficient parallel implementation. It is shown that the parallel approach is useful for optimization problems related to process engineering. Efficiency is achieved without having to relax the problems because the original model solutions are obtained in reasonable time.
