Resumen

Current mirrors are fundamental building blocks in integrated circuit design, playing a pivotal role in a wide range of analog and mixed-signal applications, offering precise and scalable current replication, high output impedance, and low sensitivity to process variations. This work presents the design, simulation, and experimental results of the frequency response for a custom configuration of a programmable current mirrors array. This array, made on a 0.5μ m CMOS process, was designed as a filter focused on noise reduction for ultrasonic detection in an integrated CMOS photodetector sensor application, and has a constant gain in the frequencies of interest from 20kHz up to a 5MHz. The results demonstrate that the proposed design offers a highly viable alternative for the ultrasound detectors used in non destructive tests.
