N2 - In this work it is presented a new class of operators on polynomials which preserve realness of-roots and interlacing relationships; certain products of Hurwitz polynomials are preserved. In particular, sufficient conditions to preserve complex Hurwitz polynomials and strictly passivity are given. A new property of the operator derivative for Hurwitz polynomials and strictly passive rational functions is presented.
